Installation of SPEL Bypass Separator

Installation of SPEL Bypass Separator

Woodenbale 2000 were successful in securing the contract for the installation of a 20m SPEL Bypass Separator into the existing secondary outfall system to the RWE Power Station site at Pembroke.

The works include excavation and installation of concrete base/blinding for installation of a 20 x 4m bypass separator tank. Working from existing pipe invert levels of the outflow system we were tasked with installing the tank and connecting 1200mm pipe work to tie into existing out fall pipe work. Having to construct 2 new inspection chambers, demolish and disinvest existing separator including the infill of existing pipe line. Installation of cable ducting and concrete bases to be followed by the lanscaping and infill works to create a new burm to encapsulate the new tank and pipe work.
