    New Build

Woodenbale has been constructing a new build at a plot on Connaught Way in Pembroke Dock over looking the estuary. The build has been a traditional block and brick construction dorma bungalow with a large glazed frontage making the most of the picturesque views of the waterway. The initial foundation works were quit extensive on the north side of the plot due to the ground conditions with sections being upto 4m deep before hitting suitable material to build off. A block and beam floor slab construction was favoured over a mass pour slab which meant the construction of the block and brickwork were underway alot quicker than the average build.

  • Design and Build Car Park

    Engineering Building Car Park

Following a few concept designs a final layout was chosen that made the most of the available area. A one way through route was employed to help avoid traffic clashes as the car park was to be used primarily by contractors, e.g. larger vans, telehandlers, items of plant. The area was very level and being hindered by the existing levels of the road and pavements that surrounded the area it was a task to ensure the falls of the car park worked. The entire area runs off to existing drainage within the adjacent road with no installed drainage within the car park. A good testement to basic engineering and well thought through setting out.
